Job Title – Electrical Engineer – MEP / Sustainability

Work Location – New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Duration – 12 Months with Extension

Mode of Interview – MS Teams/Zoom/Google Meet

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support electrical design for building systems, including lighting, power, and life safety
• Work on high-performance and sustainable building projects aligned with LEED standards
• Perform and support commissioning (Cx) activities across project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with NYC Energy Codes (NYCECC) and Local Laws (LL87, LL97)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, mechanical engineers, and stakeholders
• Conduct energy audits, analysis, and reporting for building performance optimization
• Support carbon reduction and electrification initiatives
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in MEP / Electrical Engineering design for buildings
• Hands-on experience with LEED projects (LEED AP preferred)
• Knowledge of NYC Energy Conservation Code (NYCECC) and Local Laws 87 & 97
• Experience in building commissioning (CxA / iCxA preferred)
• Familiarity with energy modeling tools (e.g., eQuest, EnergyPlus) is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
