This roledesigns, develops, and delivers training programs, documentation, and learningmaterials while working closely with Health Services, Health IT, and vendorteams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications
- Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e-learning modules
- Customize training content based on user roles, workflows, and system configurations
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches
- Support application rollouts, upgrades, and system changes through targeted training initiatives
- Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on application functionality and workflows
- Collaborate with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams to align training with system capabilities
- Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in application training, software implementation, or user education
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences
- Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Adaptability to different learning styles and technical skill levels
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to travel as needed for on-site training sessions
- Combination of remote, classroom, and on-site training environments
- Occasional travel may be required
- May require flexiblehours during system go-lives or upgrades
- 5 Years of Experience in application training, software implementation, or user education Required
- 3 Years of Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences Required
- 5 Years of Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software Required
