As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Progress OpenEdge-based applications and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, quality assurance engineers, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
The position is based out of Lincoln, NE office. The travel requirements will be minimal. However, there may be business needs for travel (to client locations and other Fiserv locations) and hence some flexibility is expected.

This group is responsible for product management and development, service delivery and client support related to the Fiserv bank platforms Premier, Precision, Cleartouch and Signature.
The primary role for this position is software development of the Fiserv Precision Core platform. You will work closely, both with an internal Product Management, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance teams to capture needed artifacts in order develop our Fiserv Integrated Teller platform.

- Proficient in Progress OpenEdge technologies, such as AppBuilder, Data Dictionary, SmartObjects, and ABL (Advanced Business Language).
- Design, develop, and maintain Progress OpenEdge-based applications and systems.
- Proficient in Progress OpenEdge technologies, such as AppBuilder, Data Dictionary, SmartObjects, and ABL (Advanced Business Language).
- Experience with Java, or .NET developer having strong programming skills.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues, working closely within a agile development team.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL
