Digital Menu Board Content Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Digital Menu Board Content contractor to support our Digital Menu Board Product Owner. This individual will be hands-on with content updates and deployment of menu board changes across environments.

This role is a mixture of content operations, technical configuration, and release execution, helping ensure that menu board changes are accurate, timely, and production ready.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced QSR/Retail environment and has experience managing digital signage and content from development through deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Management and Updates

• Create, modify, and maintain digital menu board content including:
• Menu items, pricing, promotions, daypart rules and disclaimers
• Layout adjustments and content sequencing
• Ensure accuracy, brand compliance, and adherence to operational rules - Partner closely with the Product Owner on:
• Content change requests
• New rollouts
• Iterative enhancements and optimizations
  
  

Development and Configuration Support

• Configuration and implementation of new digital menu board enhancements - Support testing of:
• New layouts
• Conditional logic (dayparting, location-specific rules, promotions)
• Hardware specific behaviors
• Troubleshoot content or configuration issues
  
  

Deployment and Release Execution

• Deploy approved menu board updates across production environments - Follow defined deployment processes and change windows - Validate deployments post-release to ensure:
• Content is live as expected
• No regressions or display issues
• Coordinate with stakeholders when issues arise and assist with rollback or correction as needed
  
  

Quality, Documentation, and Communication - Maintain basic documentation for:

• Content standards
• Deployment Steps
• Known issues and workarounds - Communicate clearly with:
• Product Owner and Management
• Internal Stakeholders
• Vendor or platform partners as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale digital signage rollouts (hundreds or thousands of locations).
• Comfortable working with Product Owners and Agile teams.
• Strong visual QA skills to validate layouts, logic, and on-screen accuracy.
• Understanding of dayparting, location-specific rules, and other dynamic content logic.
• Ability to maintain clear documentation (standards, deployment steps, known issues).
• Strong organization skills and able to manage multiple content updates at the same time.
• Capable of troubleshooting CMS-to-device connectivity issues.
• Effective communicator who can work with internal teams and external vendors.
  
  

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
