Our team is looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer to support the infrastructure automation team with developing industry leading solutions for Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs. Automation is Lockheed Martin's path to the future with its interconnected environment where data becomes information and information drives decisions that create value across the entire lifecycle.
The ideal candidate for this position has worked in agile software development environments, taking ownership of their tasks/stories, and contributing to various products. Our product teams will work closely with their scrum master to identify tasking and plan future sprints. At times, they may need to work closely with the architects and process owners who have designed the solutions to firm up requirements or perform testing.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Basic Qualifications
- Successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of IT software components, incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts.
- Containerization and automation of solution deployments in a continuous improvement/continuous development (CI/CD) environment.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment as member of cross-functional, agile teams.
- Partnering with team members to deliver technical solutions to project/backlog requirements.
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges through innovative software solutions.
- Perform in an agile software development environment including task estimation and documentation, daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives
- ship; Ability and willingness to obtain Secret Clearance
- Experience working with DevSecOps practices and methodologies using (Git, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform)
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, Power Shell
- Strong Infrastructure as Code automation knowledge (Terraform)
- Experience with configuration management
- Strong CI/CD pipeline automation knowledge, working with GitLab, Nexus and Ansible
- System testing, requirements verification, or Systems Engineering process experience
- Proficiency with cloud computing AWS or Azure,
- Knowledge working in secure classified environments
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum
- Strong Communication Skills
