- REQUIREMENTS ***
- Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility)
- Security CE
- 10 Years of Overall IT Experience
- 3-5 Years of Experience in Software Dev/Eng, Infrastructure, Cloud, Linux, DevOps, or Similar
- Experience with DevOps infrastructure and tools including Jenkins, JIRA, Nexus Repository Manager, Subversion, and Containers
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL6, RHEL8, RHEL9)
- Experience with Python, Bash scripting, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and VMware Workstation
DevOps Infrastructure Management:
- Administer and optimize DevOps tools including Jenkins, JIRA, Nexus Repository Manager, and Subversion to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Lead the migration to the Orion framework, implementing automation at every phase of development to enhance security and software delivery
- Configure and maintain containerized environments to support development and testing activities
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL6, RHEL8, RHEL9) environments
- Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements
- Manage vulnerability scanning processes using tools like ACAS and upload scan results to Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)
- Apply Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) updates and track compliance
- Maintain system security accreditation through adherence to DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Create, update, and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Develop solutions for automated testing and security validation throughout the software development lifecycle
- Implement automated configuration management processes to maintain baseline integrity
- Manage virtual machine environments including creation, configuration, and maintenance using VMware, Hyper-V, and VMware Workstation
- Create, manage, and load virtual machines via vSphere client or web client connected to vCenter
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including System Administration Guides, white papers, and standard operating procedures
- Document DevOps processes and tools for knowledge transfer and training purposes
- Contribute to configuration management documentation and change request processes
- Work closely with development, testing, and security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices
- Provide technical guidance on best practices for automated build, test, and deployment
- Support trouble resolution and system recovery processes
