Position Overview

This role ensures environment stability, release quality, and alignment with enterprise governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and version control using Git and branching strategies
- Automate deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows
- Coordinate sandbox refresh schedules and data seeding processes
- Integrate deployment approvals with Center of Excellence (CoE) governance and Architecture Review Board processes
- Manage metadata, packaging, and versioning across multi-agency Salesforce environments
- Support tenant management and data isolation strategies
- Integrate automated unit and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with QA teams and Solution Architects to develop reusable testing frameworks
- Track and report release metrics, including defect rates, deployment success/failure ratios, and cycle times
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Salesforce Shield)
- Partner closely with Solution Architects and Developers throughout the release lifecycle
- Develop release readiness checklists, documentation, training materials, and handbooks
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers during Center of Excellence (CoE) scaling initiatives

- 7 years of experience working on complex projects, including 2 years in a leadership role as a DevOps Engineer
- 7 years of DevOps experience specifically on the Salesforce platform
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages
- 2 years of experience with Git, YAML, and CI/CD pipeline scripting
- 2 years of experience with Salesforce security, including Shield Encryption and SSO configuration.
