The client is seeking an experienced Application Developer III to support the Horizon project. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C# and modern frameworks
- Build and integrate APIs, services, and data pipelines
- Work with Azure cloud services for application deployment and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles
- Conduct performance testing and optimization
- Support database design, data modeling, and migration activities
- Maintain version control and ensure code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production and non-production environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must meet ALL required criteria to be considered.
- Strong expertise in C# development (SME level)
- Experience with JavaScript, JSON, YAML (SME level)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with SQL / SQL Server (SME level)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data modeling, schema design, and API development
- Data migration strategies
- Hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD practices
- Azure DevOps
- Version control systems (Git)
- Unit testing, integration testing, manual testing
- Test case design and UAT support
- Performance testing
- Systems & Infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
- Familiarity with enterprise server environments and developer workstations
- Experience Level
- Senior-level (7 years preferred across key technologies)
- Experience with z/OS systems
- Knowledge of Adabas database
- Experience working with Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Prior experience in government or large enterprise environments
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
