DBA with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB

Fort Mill, SC

DBA Skillset Required:

We are looking for a strong DBA with hands-on experience in database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, ETL pipelines, and AWS data services. The candidate should preferably have worked on PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Key skills should include:

  • Strong database knowledge and hands-on DBA experience
  • PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization
  • Indexing strategy, execution plan analysis, partitioning, and schema optimization
  • Experience with ETL / ELT pipelines and data processing
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue Jobs, Glue Data Catalog, S3, Athena, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with DynamoDB data modeling, partition keys, secondary indexes, and performance tuning
  • Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline, database, and production performance issues
  • Strong understanding of data services, data validation, monitoring, and operational support
  • Good communication and ownership skills
