Standard Template for Job Duties/Responsibilities: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern. In this role, you will apply technical skills to the improvement of the Delivery Process and Execution Team's operations via data analysis, data visualization and automation development. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of workflow development, process mapping, data programming, and data visualization.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering.
Course work related to data mining, data structures and algorithms, programming, or database management.
Proficient in programming languages (IE: Python, VBA, R, SQL, etc.)
Proficient in data visualization (IE: Tableau or Power BI)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong foundation in technical skills
Knowledge of data analysis concepts, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data mining
Desired Skills
SharePoint PowerShell or InfoPath experience
PowerApps or PowerAutomate
Basic knowledge of Anaconda
Proficiency in Python programming, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
