Job Description
- Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Translate complex retirement business requirements into normalized and dimensional data models.
- Ensure consistency and traceability across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
- Drive data model governance, standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Model data for retirement products including:
- Defined Contribution (401k, 403b, Roth)
- Defined Benefit (Pension)
- IRAs, Rollovers, Annuities
- Understand and model core retirement concepts:
- Participants, Plans, Sponsors, Beneficiaries
- Contributions, Allocations, Vesting, Loans, Distributions
- Account balances, investment options, fund performance
- Incorporate regulatory and compliance considerations such as:
- IRS regulations (e.g., contribution limits, RMDs)
- ERISA reporting and disclosures
- Tax treatments and compliance attributes
