Job Summary
The Data Center Technician is a key member of the operations team, responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing data center hardware and infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical skills, the ability to work independently, and strong collaboration within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.

Job Summary
The Data Center Technician is a key member of the operations team, responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing data center hardware and infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical skills, the ability to work independently, and strong collaboration within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and hardware infrastructure issues
- Install, maintain, and replace server and storage hardware
- Perform basic network and system troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Linux)
- Document work and manage tasks through a ticketing system
- Follow detailed instructions, security protocols, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members and share technical knowledge
- Accept feedback and adapt performance as needed
- Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, particularly GPU-based systems.
- Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1-3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands-on hardware experience, especially with home labs or GPU architecture.
- 2-3 years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be willing to commute out to the areas of Boardman, Umatilla and Hermiston, OR
- 2 years of experience working with server hardware
