About The Role
We're seeking a Data Center Technician I to join a dynamic team supporting critical infrastructure operations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary resolver for hardware issues, including servers and networking equipment.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of data center hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with team members and follow detailed operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to security protocols.
- Rotating shifts:
- Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Sunday
- Hours: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
- Initial training: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (first two weeks).
- Holiday work may be required (regular pay applies).
- Basic to intermediate system administration skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adapt to varying temperatures.
- Comfortable with metal detection screening and strict security protocols.
- Physical capability to lift/move equipment and work in environments with dust/allergens.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; receptive to feedback.
