About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison for our data center power product portfolio. This role is customer facing and hands on, supporting solution design, technical integration, onsite troubleshooting, and direct collaboration with engineering teams to ensure successful product adoption.
The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with data center power expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical expert for data center power solutions, providing deep technical guidance, solution design support, and integration expertise to customers.
- Hands-on experience in setting up data center infrastructure - power, cabling, hardware, software, security, etc.
- Conduct frequent onsite visits to support product deployment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues by replicating failures, performing root cause analysis, and communicating resolutions directly to customers.
- Modify 3D CAD models (SolidWorks or CREO) to support immediate customer needs and relay design updates to the internal R&D team.
- Collaborate with internal cross functional teams including R&D, Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure coordinated support and project execution.
- Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical trainings to educate customers on product functionality and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive offerings to articulate differentiation and strategic value.
- Support additional tasks and strategic initiatives assigned by management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years in customer facing technical roles (engineering, technical sales, field support, etc.).
- Strong understanding of high power architecture, data center infrastructure, and components supporting networking, storage, and compute environments.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or CREO for mechanical design updates and documentation.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, CSPs, and ODM ecosystem is a plus.
- Highly self driven professional who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong initiative with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Confident communicator capable of building rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
