Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience engineering and administering comprehensive Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL programming utilizing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and DTS packages.
• Experience with architecting scalable relational databases for high-performance OLTP and DSS multi-tiered platforms.
• Experience in executing strict change management protocols and driving enterprise code promotion lifecycles.
• Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning web application server systems.
• Experience in enterprise project documentation utilizing Microsoft Visio, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical architectures for diverse executive stakeholders.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive data models and system specifications to guide complex enterprise software deployments.
• Administer highly scalable SQL database environments by executing rigorous monitoring and continuous performance tuning.
• Govern complex code promotions and manage strict technical change control workflows alongside cross-functional development teams.
• Drive overarching project planning and enforce architectural technology standards across diverse multi-tiered environments.
• Execute comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to secure large-scale, high-profile database implementation projects.
• Author precise technical documentation encompassing project budgets, risk plans, change control logs, and testing verification.
• Generate detailed status reports and communicate critical project milestones directly to legislative bodies and executive sponsors.
