Key Responsibilities
Define and document data warehouse architecture (conceptual, logical, physical models).
Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, and architects to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
Provide technical expertise in database design, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance, security, and quality standards.
Evaluate and recommend data tools, frameworks, and platforms to optimize enterprise data strategy.
Support ETL/data pipeline design and integration across cloud and on-prem systems.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data modeling.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
5 years of experience in data modeling or data architecture roles.
Strong expertise in SQL, relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and metadata management.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
