Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for KPIs and business insights
- Build and optimize semantic data models using DAX (measures, calculated columns, relationships)
- Perform ETL processes using Power Query (M)
- Optimize report performance and scalability (DAX tuning, model efficiency)
- Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and business teams to solve complex data problems
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting standards
- Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and ETL processes
- Strong expertise in performance optimization (especially DAX and data models)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema preferred)
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex systems
- Portfolio showcasing Power BI/reporting work (non-confidential data)
