Data Analyst Summer Intern

Kratos is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to participate in our Summer Intern program. Primary responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and interpret data for informed decisions utilizing tools like Excel, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
• Reporting and Visualization: Create visualizations and dashboards to present data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Documentation: Document data analysis processes and methodologies for future reference and compliance.
  
  

Experience And Skills

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate with team members.
• Attention to Detail. Takes a meticulous approach to data management and analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules
  
  

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education

Hourly rate of pay $21-$24
