Title: Cyber Security Engineer-Threat Simulation

Location: Chicago, IL

Employment Type: Full Time 2 Days Onsite Per Week (Hybrid)

Compensation:

Pay Range: $170,000-$180,000 Per Year

Job Summary:

• Join our dynamic team in a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL.
• As a full-time Cyber Security Engineer specializing in Threat Simulation, you'll be responsible for executing simulated adversary attacks to test and enhance our security measures.
• This role requires proficiency in generic penetration testing tools and a solid understanding of security frameworks.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Red Team exercises using real-world threat intelligence.
• Engineer and maintain infrastructure for security exercises.
• Collaborate on joint exercises to improve detection capabilities.
• Conduct research on new offensive security techniques.
• Provide detailed reports and recommendations post-exercise.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience with penetration testing tools.
• Expert understanding of security frameworks and evasion techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting and compiled languages for tool development.
• Experience with attacking and securing complex environments.
• Knowledge of system hardening and vulnerability rating methodologies.
