The Work
As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer Stf, you will lead the integration of modern cybersecurity solutions across multiple Stratford programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems are not only effective but also resilient in the face of evolving threats.
Key responsibilities include:
Cybersecurity Design & Implementation:
Support the decomposition of Statements of Work (SOW) into actionable, cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Design and oversee the implementation of critical cybersecurity capabilities.
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
Work with internal and external teams to enhance Cyber Resiliency across a portfolio of Rotary programs.
Cybersecurity Leadership:
Lead the effort to streamline the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and accelerate Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
Security Lifecycle Oversight:
Oversee the development of cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards like NIST 800-53. Lead efforts to achieve and maintain ATO for systems and technologies.
Please note:
This position requires ability to maintain a government DoD SECRET level clearance.
This position is based in Stratford, CT.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors in a STEM related field with 7 years of equivalent experience
Experience leading Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cyber threat assessments
Familiar with model-based systems engineering and Cameo modeling
Knowledge and usage of SE processes and System Engineering "V"
Security or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 certification required
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level
Ability to effectively work with internal & external customers
Must be willing to travel up to 10%
Desired Skills
Master's degree with 5 years experience
Strongly written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with security architecture design, security audit tools, security requirements generation, security testing
Experience using Security Center/ACAS - Assured Compliance Assessment Solution
Familiarity with RTCA DO-356
