Introduction:
This position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of enterprise system integrations and development work within the existing Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will be a software developer capable of performing various software lifecycle tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications, Flows, APIs, reports, dashboards, screen layout, and integrations in the existing Salesforce environment
- Perform analysis to ensure business functionality, data security, application design, and optimal performance requirements are met
- Collaborate with project teams to estimate work effort and time requirements
- Develop and execute software testing plans to support migrations and implementation of changes
- Create and maintain documentation for code, applications, and processes
- Prepare software installation instructions and documentation
- Manage migration of data and applications to new systems and platforms
- Create complex reports, interfaces, enhance applications, and perform quality control of new applications/processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of development experience
- Specific Salesforce development experience
- 3 years of Apex development experience
- 3 years of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) experience
- Visualforce framework experience
- Salesforce CLI experience
- 2 years of Git experience for code management
- Knowledge of systems analysis, technical documentation techniques, monitoring tools/techniques, and reporting/analytics techniques
- Knowledge of design, development, and implementation tools and techniques for integrating enterprise applications
- 1 year of experience with the Educational Data Architecture within Salesforce
- 1 year of experience with Jira or other ticketing systems for project and workload management
- Demonstrated knowledge or certification in SQL development, such as Oracle DBMS environment
- Extensive experience working in enterprise systems in the higher education environment
- Experience with Agile processes
