Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Consulting Engineer in support of our enterprise networking and cloud solutions customer in Austin, TX.
Summary:
This role is largely focusing on a single customer based in Austin, TX who is looking for Enterprise networking expertise to help optimize their networks in the US. The role will be part of a lifecycle services rendered for 12 months. Responsibilities will include 5-day consulting (both onsite & remote) of customer on their network services, as part of a practice services engagement led by our client.

- Interacts effectively with Engineering to solve complex problems, identifies serviceability issues and drives resolution of the issues with Engineering and other organizations
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex customer problems in support of critical issues

- Continuously learning and strengthening technical skills for relevant technical domain and adjacent technologies
- 6-8 years of related experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading large scale Enterprise Design and Implementation Engagements
- Experience in Programming and Automation. Python, and Ansible desired
- Expert level knowledge in Cisco Catalyst Center, Catalyst Switches, SDA highly desired
- Expert level knowledge highly desired in Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies, such as MPLS, DMVPN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS VXLAN, LISP and VRF
- Demonstrated knowledge of Campus Networking environments
- Catalyst Center Hands-on knowledge and Catalyst Automation are highly required skills on this role
- Must be self-motivated, team oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills
