- Lead CMDB modernization project delivery at Hill AFB, coordinating Device42-to-JSM/Jira/Confluence integration workstreams across cPMO, FinOps, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM portfolios, applying PMP and CSM methodologies to drive sprint planning, risk management, and stakeholder alignment while maintaining DoW configuration and change management governance standards through defined MVP and IOC milestones within the Period of Performance.
- Lead project planning and milestone development across all active CMDB modernization workstreams in support of cPMO, FinOps, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM WIPT MVP and IOC deliverables.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks, requirements, timelines, and deliverables across all CMDB workstreams, maintaining a current risk registry, developing mitigation strategies, and escalating blockers that could impact WIPT MVP or IOC milestone delivery to the Contract Program Manager as appropriate.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, WIPT leads, and external partners to ensure alignment of technical execution with program priorities and charter commitments.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, capture decisions and action items, and ensure follow-through across all active CMDB workstreams within the Period of Performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, and program documentation, tracking sprint velocity and program performance metrics to support Government oversight and reporting requirements on a regular cadence.
- Support change management activities related to CMDB modernization, ensuring stakeholders across cPMO, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM portfolios are informed of scope, schedule, and impact changes.
- Ensure CMDB modernization activities align with enterprise configuration management governance, data quality standards, and ITSM operational requirements.
- Support sprint planning and retrospective activities, ensuring engineering teams have clear priorities, defined acceptance criteria, and resolved dependencies ahead of each sprint cycle.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Active Secret clearance (Required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (Preferred).
- ITIL Foundation or higher (Preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist (Preferred).
- CompTIA Project (Preferred).
- 10 years of professional experience managing enterprise IT projects or programs in a federal or DoW environment.
- Experience managing ITSM, CMDB, or enterprise infrastructure modernization programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams using Agile or sprint-based delivery methodologies in complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience coordinating with engineering teams, Government stakeholders, and external partners in a mission-driven, deadline-sensitive federal environment. Experience supporting Hill AFB or Air Force programs preferred.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) and their application in managing enterprise IT modernization programs within federal or DoW environments.
- Knowledge of ITSM concepts, CMDB architecture, and configuration management principles sufficient to oversee technical delivery, interpret engineering outputs, and communicate program status accurately to Government stakeholders.
- Knowledge of risk management, stakeholder engagement, and federal IT governance practices sufficient to identify and escalate program risks and maintain alignment across cPMO, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM WIPT charters.
- Skilled at developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registries, and status reports that provide accurate, decision-ready program visibility to Government leads and program leadership.
- Skilled at facilitating cross-functional coordination across engineering teams, WIPT leads, and Government stakeholders, translating technical progress into clear stakeholder communications and driving resolution of blockers and dependencies.
- Skilled at leading sprint planning, coordination, and retrospective activities, ensuring engineering teams maintain clear priorities, defined acceptance criteria, and resolved dependencies across concurrent workstreams.
- Able to manage multiple concurrent CMDB workstreams under tight deadlines, maintaining schedule accuracy and proactively communicating risks and projected delays to Government leads with corrective action plans before milestones are missed.
- Able to operate effectively in a mission-driven, audit-sensitive federal environment, maintaining program records in a state of continuous readiness and supporting Government oversight activities across cPMO, Cyber, Ops, and eITSM stakeholders.
