- Full-time, Permanent
- This is a hybrid role at Washington, DC (2 times a week)
- Local candidates from Washington DC only
- This position requires atleast an Interim Secret Clearance
- Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer (AWS) who can support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure for an AWS-based data and API platform. Assist in deploying and managing cloud resources.
- Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor, cloud systems to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Help implement security measures and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate and optimize cloud solutions.
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for cloud deployments.
- Experience in cloud engineering, preferably AWS.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Understanding of networking concepts like VPN, VPCs, DNS, and load balancing
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
