Essential Job Functions
- Provide strategic consultation to IT teams/leaders. Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical/solution architecture to accommodate project needs.
- Keep IT s technology and delivery managers aware of key issues, identifying and resolving potential problems and conflicts. Develop a communication plan for architecture at the infrastructure level.
- Partner with Information Security, PMO, and Enterprise Architecture contributing to the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in development and/or operational support activities. Consider potential application and impact
- Lead the design and development of architecture using services provided by AWS. This position will directly contribute to the enterprise cloud architecture and promote a cloud-native strategy for applications and services across various platform types (On-premise Infrastructure, Cloud, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS). Help develop a strategy for on-prem to cloud data movement. Software and infrastructure delivery through automation including various gates for testing, quality assurance, compliance, and security (DevSecOps) for cloud, hyrbid, and on-premise workloads.
- Enable and support Generative AI initiatives from a cloud infrastructure perspective, including the architecture of secure, scalable, and cost effective platforms for data ingestion, model training, inference, and lifecycle management. Partner with data, application, and security teams to ensure AI workloads align with enterprise architecture standards, cloud-native best practices, and governance requirements.
- Determining enterprise distributed computing, cloud, Office365, information management, mobility, and unified communication policies, standards, and strategy.
- Encourage the evolution of technology adoption to the business in the areas of self-service, end-user computing, and technology platforms (Low / No code, RPA, VDI, Software defined infrastructure, etc.)
- Advocacy and support of the enterprise s IT strategies. Knowledge - Provide strategic consultation to IT teams/leaders. - Performs job duties as assigned as part of Business Continuity Management Program, including annual maintenance and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency response plans.
- 3-5 years experience
- Strong background in software development, network engineering, or system administration and Enterprise IT.
- Should have a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, such as cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi), and cloud security and governance.
- Additionally, proficiency in one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and the ability to demonstrate expertise.
- Should have good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, able to work with various stakeholders and troubleshoot issues
