We are seeking to hire a dynamic and dedicated Civil Design Engineer to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design, plan, and supervise construction projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Carry out detailed design of civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water, and wastewater systems.
- Prepare and manage construction documents, including plans, estimates, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to plan and design projects.
- Ensure project designs comply with various regulations and quality standards.
- Perform risk assessments and propose solutions to technical problems.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress.
- Continually update technical knowledge and skills through various learning opportunities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in civil design engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Extensive experience in the design of civil infrastructure and preparation of construction documents.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent mathematical, design, and engineering skills.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- EIT is preferred.
