Drivers can expect regular home time (daily, weekly, or bi-weekly depending on route) and the opportunity to earn strong annual income.
π° Compensation
- Average annual pay: $75,000 β $110,000 (based on route & experience)
- Safety bonus opportunities (select accounts)
- Paid orientation and training
- Additional layover pay (where applicable)
- Start times vary: typically between 12:00 AM β 10:00 AM
- Average shift: 10β14 hours per day
- Work schedule: 5β6 days/week depending on account
- Home time:
- Local: Home daily
- Semi-local: 1β2 nights out/week
- Regional: Weekly home time
- OTR: Extended runs with scheduled resets
- Some positions may require holiday work
- Layovers may be required (hotel provided in applicable roles)
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
- Transport freight across designated regional or national routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Handle drop & hook and occasional live load/unload freight
- Regional and multi-state routes including but not limited to:
- West Coast, Midwest, Northeast, and Southern U.S.
- Some OTR roles cover all 48 states
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driverβs License)
- Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays if required
- Strong safety record and adherence to regulations
- Ability to handle long driving hours and varying routes
