- Midrange systems expertise across AIX, RHEL, Solaris, and VMware environments
- Monitoring & optimization using TrueSight, SAR/vmstat, PerfMon, and related tools
- Strong analytical, statistical, and troubleshooting skills
- Lead capacity planning and performance management for midrange systems
- Build and refine forecasting models to predict future infrastructure needs
- Provide executive-level summaries and actionable performance insights
- Analyze performance data and test results using monitoring and APM tools
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to model system growth and optimize performance
- Review technical documentation to assess capacity impacts
- Support audit, compliance, and risk-related activities
- Contribute to ITSM practices, disaster recovery planning, and governance initiatives
- Recommend improvements for infrastructure and application performance
- 3-5 years in capacity management, performance engineering, or related infrastructure roles
- Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, TrueSight, SAR/vmstat, and PerfMon
- Understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and Agile methodologies
- Experience working with midrange OS, virtualization platforms, databases, web servers, backup tools, and storage systems
- Exposure to scripting/automation tools such as shell scripting, Python, or Ansible
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
