Responsibilities:
As a CAD/BIM Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and modifying complex electrical designs using CAD/BIM software.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure designs are integrated and functional.
- Developing electrical design standards and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
- Coordinating with project managers to ensure designs are in line with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Participating in project meetings and providing updates on design progress and challenges.
- Managing all aspects of electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Assisting with the resolution of design-related issues that arise during construction.
- Continually updating knowledge on new technologies and design approaches in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD/BIM electrical design within the construction industry.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent technical drawing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of electrical design.
