This role plays a key part in requirements analysis, test planning and execution, defect management, and cross-functional coordination across high-visibility enterprise projects.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA (increases to 3 days per week onsite starting in April)
- Shift: Standard business hours
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Eliciting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Developing test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for system and UAT testing
- Executing test cases, tracking defects, and collaborating with technology teams to ensure timely resolution
- Conducting root cause analysis and assessing business and technical impacts
- Coordinating with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business needs
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, QA Analyst, or related role
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in system testing and UAT, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (test case management, work item tracking, release coordination)
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or risk frameworks
- Experience working with change management principles or process improvement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
