Business Solutions Architect – Investment Systems

Overview

Seeking a Business Solutions Architect with strong investment operations knowledge and technical design skills. This role focuses on translating business requirements into system designs, data mappings, and process flows across investment and accounting systems—primarily PAM, Aladdin, and Bloomberg. Must have deep understanding of CMLs, RMLs, and private securities, along with hands-on experience in Azure data engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from investment operations and identify data gaps.
• Design solutions for system synchronization and reconciliation across PAM, Aladdin, and other platforms.
• Create high-level and detailed design documents, including data mappings and transformation logic.
• Build starter SQL for Azure SQL/Snowflake to support development teams.
• Oversee solution implementation; support SIT/UAT cycles.
• Troubleshoot production data issues and assist with incident resolution.
• Maintain documentation for system processes and data flows.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Deep investment operations knowledge: CMLs, RMLs, private securities, portfolios, data elements.
• Strong understanding of how these assets are represented in PAM (ABOR) and Aladdin (IBOR).
• Technical skills: SQL, JSON, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Experience designing data mappings, transformations, and system integration flows.
