We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong data analysis and technical expertise in SQL, Python, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data-driven insights are translated into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
Translate business needs into data models, analytical reports, and dashboards.
Perform data analysis using SQL and Python to support decision-making.
Extract, transform, and analyze data stored in Snowflake for business insights.
Design and validate business rules, KPIs, and metrics.
Work closely with data engineers, developers, and BI teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
Create functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects. Strong expertise in SQL (query writing, optimization, joins, aggregations).
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data querying, transformations, warehouse concepts).
Experience working with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Good to Have
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
