Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst - SAP to support business process improvement and operational alignment in Tucson, Arizona. This role works closely with stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, clarify business needs, and translate findings into practical solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience working in customer service environments, and the ability to contribute effectively within Agile Scrum teams.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Process Optimization: Championing a "Process-First" and "Fit-to-Standard" approach to minimize costly system customizations.
- Gap Analysis: Identifying where business needs diverge from standard SAP capabilities and recommending functional solutions.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as the primary translator between department heads (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) and the technical implementation partners.
- Project Stewardship: Managing workstream deliverables, identifying risks/bottlenecks, and ensuring milestones are hit.
- Quality Assurance: Leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including script development and system readiness validation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of Business Analyst experience, including at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, or SD) and familiarity with SAP Fiori.
- Methodology: Proven experience working within Agile or Waterfall frameworks using tools like Jira or MS Project.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated analytical thinking and the ability to explain technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders.
- S/4HANA Specifics: Hands-on experience with SAP Activate Methodology and a direct S/4HANA implementation (rather than just legacy ECC).
- Certifications: * SAP Certified Application Associate (S/4HANA).
- PMI-PBA or PMP certification.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Advanced Influence: Strong negotiation skills, specifically in the context of managing expectations between business units and IT.
