Business Analyst – Life Insurance Domain/Annuities

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that policies and processes align with industry standards and regulations.

Introduction:
The Business Analyst in the Life Insurance Domain/Annuities will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying needs, and developing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Life Insurance and Annuities domain. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that policies and processes align with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize strong Business Analyst skills to create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems and processes meet business requirements.
- Analyze and optimize process flows related to policy lifecycle in Life and Annuities.
- Understand and manage underwriting processes for Life and Annuities policies.
- Handle claims processing for Life and Disability policies.
- Manage billing and premium processing for Life Insurance and Annuities.
- Possess LOMA or FLMI certification to ensure industry knowledge and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Life & Annuities domain.
- Strong understanding of policy lifecycle in Life and Annuities.
- Experience in underwriting for Life and Annuities policies.
- Knowledge of claims processing for Life and Disability policies.
- Experience in billing and premium processing.
- LOMA or FLMI certification.
- Experience with Life insurance platforms (NOT Guidewire-heavy).
- Knowledge of Policy administration systems in Life and Annuities.
- Strong Business Analyst skills including creating BRDs/FRDs, UAT, and process flows.
- Only accept profiles with Life Insurance/Annuities exposure, not P&C (Guidewire/Duck Creek) profiles.
- Avoid pure data analysts and prioritize candidates with strong Business Analyst skills.
- Require candidates to possess LOMA certification.
- No consideration for candidates without prior experience in Life/Annuities exposure.
