Role: Business Analyst / Data Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite - 4 days/week)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job description:

Seeking a strong Business Analyst/Data Analyst with solid experience in financial and investment domains and hands-on exposure to Azure data warehouse environments. This role requires someone who can work closely with business and technical teams to analyze data, define requirements, and support cloud-based data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
• Work with Azure-based data warehouse environments and curated/modern data sets.
• Perform data analysis, data validation, and support reporting needs.
• Write complex SQL queries for analysis, transformation, and data troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Support cloud data initiatives, ensuring quality and accuracy of financial/investment data.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in financial and investment domains.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Warehouse / Azure cloud data projects.
• Solid understanding of modern data warehouse concepts (curated layers, data modeling, ingestion).
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills; strong teamwork.
