- Travel: 50-70% domestic and international travel required

Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of boilers, HRSG systems, and auxiliary equipment using visual, mechanical, and ultrasonic methods
- Perform boiler performance testing and combustion tuning to improve efficiency, reliability, and emissions compliance
- Analyze operational data such as NO?, CO, O? levels, steam flow, pressure, and temperature to identify performance gaps
- Develop and deliver technical reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans
- Troubleshoot combustion, mechanical, and system performance issues in field environments
- Support outage planning and execution, ensuring proper inspection scope and coverage
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry codes during all field activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to communicate results and implement performance improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in boiler or HRSG inspection and performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
- Experience with combustion systems, burner management, and emissions compliance testing
- Proficiency in inspection techniques including visual inspection, ultrasonic thickness testing, and borescope evaluations
- Strong technical writing and reporting capabilities
- Ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated structures
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and perform hands-on fieldwork
- Background in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial boiler systems
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME Boiler Code, NBIC, and ASME PTC
- Experience with tuning software, instrumentation, and portable emissions analyzers
- Prior field service or OEM inspection experience
