This individual will be assigned to a "GenAI Discovery and Prototyping" team. We need this person to act as back-end developer, connecting data and LLMs with application prototypes. Expectation that the engineer is experienced with LLMs and C#.

Customers that are buying Cargills feed use the apps. Features & Services are being added GenAI & Agentic AI focused. Prototyping features & products to show to customers internally.
Hiring a Backend & Frontend Developer:
GPT, Claude, CoPilot, Cargill is working with all for integrations so open to any... Taking direction from feed division to test feasibility to ideas. Test ideas & promote ideas into delivery if it works. 5-8 software products that this person will support / backlogs this person will roll into
Discovery Team Feeding requirements, designs, and feasibility into projects.
Years of Experience? Senior-level Developer for both openings
GenAI or AI how important is that given you are open to local candidates only? We want to frame our projects into 1-month projects. Get users used to working with the product, see how it s working, and then release. They need this functional knowledge to be able to do this.
Backend Developer LLMs & C#: Looking at strong engineering and integration between APIs, MCPs, high level understanding of how LLMs work but not expecting anyone to know fine tuning optimization at CPU level for training neural networks.
Top 3 Skills: Strong Software Engineering, 12 Factor Engineering
Hybrid / How Often Required In Office? 1-2 Days Per Week. Demo & Follow Up with Planning Cycle Tuesday & then again follow up on Thursday.
Interviews & Relocation Candidates? Will do interviews remotely
Long Term? We have no new FTE roles slotted for this person but this team will be in existence for a year or two. Big roadmaps planning, if the candidate would fit into a FTE role for long-term planning they would love to convert them.
Team Size? 4-5 with participants being people who move from project to project. Persistent team is 3-4, with 2 that float around. Broader team is 40 FTE employees, 90 contractors.
