We are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Engineer (8–10 years experience) with strong expertise in the Azure ecosystem to design and build scalable data platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure & Databricks
Build batch and real-time data processing solutions
Develop ETL/ELT workflows and optimize performance
Work with ADLS, Delta Lake, and Spark (PySpark)
Design data models for analytics and reporting
Ensure data quality, governance, and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
10 years in data engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks & Spark
Expertise in SQL and performance tuning
Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lakehouse architecture
Knowledge of streaming tools (Kafka/Event Hub preferred).
