Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years in AWS/platform engineering
- Strong in AWS networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53, ALB/NLB
- Hands-on with AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
- Experience in Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC)
- Scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
- Strong troubleshooting & communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design & manage secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms
- Build multi-account environments (Organizations, Control Tower)
- Architect and manage VPCs, hybrid connectivity, and load balancing
- Implement network security (WAF, Shield, Firewall, NACLs)
- Automate infrastructure using IaC & CI/CD pipelines
- Drive monitoring, reliability, and incident management (SRE practices)
- Optimize cost, performance, and availability
- Collaborate with DevOps/app teams and support production environments
