Valu Technology is seeking a skilled and experienced AWS Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with AWS services.
- Strong understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
