Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Autonomous Driving / Functional Safety Engineer with a strong background in ADAS and vehicle-level safety systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with OEMs, particularly in automotive manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support functional safety activities for autonomous driving and ADAS systems
- Perform safety design, hazard analysis, and risk assessments (HARA, FMEA, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement safety concepts at the vehicle level
- Contribute to system-level architecture and safety validation for autonomous driving features
- 10 years of experience in automotive engineering (20 years acceptable)
- Strong expertise in Functional Safety and ADAS systems
- Experience working with OEMs
- Proven track record in safety design, risk analysis, and risk assessment
- Hands-on vehicle-level development experience
- Exposure to autonomous driving technologies and system integration
- Deep understanding of safety lifecycle processes
- Experience in autonomous vehicle programs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
