AUTOMATION ENGINEER (Python and SQL)

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite)

Key responsibilities:

• Expertise in Python scripting to help automate legacy Windows/Unix based simulator applications.
• Analyze business requirements from customers and design, develop & enhance automated test scripts in Python.
• Design automation frameworks and integrate with external automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and testing processes.
  
  

Minimum skills/tools (3-5 years of experience):

• Expertise in Python scripting with focus on Python modules viz. Tesseract pandas, Numpy, or similar. Etc.,
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Bash/TCL scripting is a good to have skill.
• Experience in various automation frameworks, development life cycle & test life cycle.
• Automation tools like UFT, Eggplant, Selenium etc.,
• Subversion control.
  
  

Good to have experience:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends and patterns.
• Experience with data analysis using libraries like Pandas, Numpy, or Similar.
  
  

Others:

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with different teams & vendors for issue or deliverables.
• Should be able to coordinate with offshore as needed.

The base salary range for this position is $ $38.56/hr. - $60.60/hr , plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
