Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support and advice to our organization, including the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Manage all aspects of SEC reporting and compliance, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports, proxy statements, and other SEC filings.
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to handle complex legal projects and initiatives.
- Represent our organization in legal proceedings, including negotiations, disputes, and litigation.
- Keep abreast of current legislation and regulatory developments that may impact our organization, and provide timely and accurate advice to senior management.
- Conduct legal research and analysis as needed, and provide clear and concise legal opinions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in the corporate or securities law field.
- Extensive experience with SEC reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
