Architect

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Architect for a RIGHT TO HIRE assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Rutherford, NJ/Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Seeking an Architect with expertise in knowledge and experience in developing medium to complex proof of concepts and end to end solutions for financial business problems. Candidate should have a strong experience working with financial instruments, market risk, and large-scale distributed computing systems. This role involves proposing and developing solutions for risk calculations, trade analytics, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

• Create solution architecture artifact that are consistent with architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices with a goal of resilient and scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to create solutions
• Conduct proof of concept and proof of analysis on potential solutions with a failure fast mindset to drive target state
• Design common business functions and capabilities within the ERM ecosystem to simplify technology footprint and faster time to market
  
  

Required Skills:

• 10 years of overall relevant software development
• 3 to 4 years' experience as Solutions Architecture
• Good communication skills
• Expertise in building solutions with domain driven design (DDD), API, microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud native principles
• Expertise in modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript), messaging, integration, and data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ etc..), caching & database (RDBMS and NoSQL) tools, application development framework (e.g., Spring boot), well architected framework, data integration solutions, software architecture patterns, and tools
