We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Applications Engineer. This position is a unique opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced, and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute projects within tight deadlines
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural blueprints
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with new customers to strategically align the company product development
- Identify customers' needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
- Perform technical/product training for both sales representatives and customers at targeted accounts
- Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Research and provide recommendations based on product knowledge and technical competency
- A Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Technical aptitude and the ability to read mechanical, electrical, and architectural blueprints
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Visio, and SolidWorks
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and excellent presentation skills
- Solution-oriented and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player who is willing to put in extra effort/time to complete the assignment and ensure the customer is satisfied
- Understanding of network communications technology - Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.
- Experience successfully interacting with customers and providing recommendations based on product knowledge and technical competency.
