Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

This position is required to support 1LMX Common MES. This role will help with project acceleration covering topics such as order maintenance, skills and certification enforcement, operator feedback/callboards, order execution, IFF, interfaces with ERP, PLM, ATLAS, etc., data collectors and as-built data. Roles and responsibilities would include but are not limited to defining success criteria for dev and user stories, define functional requirements based on inputs from BA reps, provide content for training or communication packages for OCM (tailored to BA as applicable), facilitate BA engagement events with functional users (demos, training deployments), define test cases and writes test scripts/test steps, and sign off/complete functional testing of development.

Additional duties include development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve technical manufacturing problems as well as support the development of the next generation of Manufacturing Systems. Candidates must be able to investigate and gather information concerning the technical capabilities of production operations systems and stay abreast of developments in software that may be used to improve existing fabrication and assembly processes. This position will require excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze customer problems, create new production processes within current framework, coordinate capability solutions for manufacturing digital transformation and communicate requirements to information technology architects, and present solutions to the functional core process owners. In addition, this role is responsible to participate in the development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of the MES.

Candidate will support the successful completion of major projects and may function in a technical project management role. May interact with senior personnel and management on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas. This role will be an integral part of a cross-organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of business requirements, using Dassault Apriso.

Position is open for Fort Worth or Palmdale. Preferred Location TBD.

Basic Qualifications

Project management experience

Experience With Technical Requirements Generation And Specification Development

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems with experience in a broad range of operations applications and workflows

Experience in manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods

Desired Skills

Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Teamcenter or 3DX.

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) manufacturing applications with experience in Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes

Experience in Aeronautical manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.

Excellent communication skills

Experience working with Quality First Apriso, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems

Experience in the following:

  • Process development across multiple systems
  • Model Based Engineering
  • Digital Transformation
  • Quality Center (HPQC)
  • Documenting business processes
  • Documenting training requirements
  • Authoring requirements specifications

    Work Schedule Information

    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    National Pay Statement

    Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

    (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.

    Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
