Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program BAS controller databases based on design documents, sequences of operation, and project requirements.
- Integrate BAS with third-party systems through BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocols, ensuring reliable communication.
- Support validation of system I/O, control drawings, network architecture, and scope alignment prior to deployment.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including backups, revisions, and detailed programming notes.
- Participate in internal technical reviews and help advance standardized programming libraries and workflows.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues both remotely and onsite, and support post-installation service needs.
- Travel to project sites approximately once per month for commissioning, field validation, and client interaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and on-time project delivery.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of hands-on experience programming and configuring BAS systems, preferably with Delta Controls.
- Experience integrating BAS with third-party platforms using BACnet and Modbus.
- Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals including addressing, routing, and device communication.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple project timelines.
- Associate degree or higher in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Delta Controls certifications (Fundamentals, Advanced Applications).
- Experience with EPMS, SCADA, or other building automation platforms.
