Applications Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications, scripts, and libraries to automate solutions from start to finish.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and improvements.
• Analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks to enhance code efficiency.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
• Debug software defects and issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Ansible for automating network infrastructure.
• Experience with NodeJS, NextJS, or React.
• Familiarity with source code version control systems and GitLab Actions.
• Experience with AWS services, including Fargate / ECS, and using Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of networking protocols, distributed systems, or real-time systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
