Applications Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in need of an Applications Developer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical expert for enterprise-wide IT solutions, ensuring robust application design and implementation
• Develop, test, and maintain applications aligned with business requirements and IT standards
• Apply project management principles to plan, schedule, and manage application development tasks, including risk and resource management
• Utilize advanced knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking, and security to optimize application performance and reliability
• Leverage tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Access, and JIRA for documentation, analytics, and workflow management
• Collaborate effectively in a matrix environment, working independently or as part of cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing
• Prioritize and execute development tasks in a dynamic environment, adapting to shifting business needs
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and deliver innovative solutions
• Foster positive relationships across teams, ensuring smooth integration and support for applications
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional or practical experience in the field of information technology security
• Proven success as a technical expert in enterprise-wide IT solutions
• Skilled in project management: planning, risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Advanced knowledge of IT domains: hardware, OS, SAN, networking, and security
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Access), data analytics, and JIRA
• Adaptable to high-pressure, matrix environments; Able to respond quickly
• Strong ability to work independently or collaboratively across all levels
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
• Highly organized with strong prioritization and execution capabilities
• Energetic, flexible, and solutions-oriented professional
• Solid interpersonal skills for working with diverse IT expertise levels
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
