Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Applications Developer - Senior to join the IT team and contribute to critical projects within a large government organisation. The role involves technical expertise, project management, and collaboration across multiple teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert in enterprise-wide IT solutions.
• Develop project plans and manage risk, scheduling, estimating, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Apply advanced knowledge of IT areas including hardware, operating systems, SAN technology, networking, and security routers.
• Utilise advanced Microsoft Office tools (pivot tables, charts), Visio, Access, data analytics, and JIRA.
• Work effectively in a high-pressure, matrix environment.
• Collaborate independently and within teams at varying levels of expertise.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Assess priorities and adapt to dynamic team needs.
• Execute and manage work with strong organisational skills.
• Demonstrate a proactive, energetic approach to tasks.
• Build strong interpersonal relationships across IT teams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience in information technology security.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a flexible manner.
